Introducing POLi Payments for Australia and New Zealand!

We are pleased to announce the addition of POLi as one of our newest partnerships in the Asia Pacific region. With POLi, we are yet again expanding our offering of payments methods within the Checkout solution for our merchants.

POLi will allow Checkout.com merchants to access millions of additional customers in both Australia and New Zealand. A typical online retailer will experience a 4 – 8% lift in online sales in the region when they start accepting POLi payments.

POLi is the most recent addition to Checkout.com's APAC payments portfolio.

POLi payments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australia Post, is gaining in popularity as an online payment method in Australia and New Zealand and now accounts for roughly 5% of all online transactions in the region. Currently, POLi processes more than AUD $1 billion in transaction volume per year.

Our enthusiasm for this partnership is shared by Jeffery McAlister, POLi Payments CEO, who gave the following comment on our new partnership:

“POLi is very pleased that Checkout.com has decided to expand its payment choices by offering POLi. We are finding that merchants are increasingly seeking to avoid the complexity of managing multiple integrations by seeking out a single point of integration with companies such as Checkout.com.

Within the Australasian region POLi is a leading alternative payments product with a strong market share in gaming, travel, foreign exchange and online retail. We expect to continue expanding quickly and this partnership with Checkout.com will accelerate our ability to bring the benefits of POLi to more merchants and customers.”

How Checkout integrates with POLi

We have created an easy integration and payment process for merchants who want to offer POLi as a payment option for their customers.

Checkout.com's online payment solution integrates with POLi in 5 easy steps!

As with the pricing for credit/debit card transactions, the pricing for our local payment methods is also very attractive.

If you want to learn more about local payments, you can find further information on the website in our Local Payments section.
